NIIOS Education - Personal Coaching

NIIOS Personal coaching consists of a hands-on live-surgery training with our corneal surgeons. Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in ophthalmology in the EU or equivalent thereof and be Board eligible in ophthalmology.

Program Description

The NIIOS offers a one-day surgical training session. It is anticipated that applicants

• become familiair with the various surgical techniques for anterior and posterior lamellar keratoplasty as developed by the NIIOS
• perform 3-6 surgeries in live-surgery sessions to achieve a basic training in advanced procedures for lamellar keratoplasty

Personal coaching may be most effective after attending a NIIOS wetlab instruction course.
